String Quintet Op. 77

The Solem Quartet played in the 2022 season of Wooler Arts Summer Concerts. They are renowned for their playing and for their imaginative and innovative programmes. This concert introduces the radiant music of Camden Reeves, a fascinating arrangement of a Joni Mitchell classic, and a new work by Dani Howard. Her Concerto for Brass: SIGNAL was premiered at the 2026 BBC Proms and The Times regards her as “one of the most sought-after British composers of the younger generation.” They conclude with the rarely heard String Quintet by Dvořák, composed in 1875.
